Photographer BIO:
Juan Luis de Heeckeren is a chilean photographer and filmaker born in Santiago on 1987, he has dedicate most of his life on practicing action sports and capturing images about it, mostly around Chile. In his continual tracking of athletes in epic places, Juan Luis has captured most of the chilean sport scene at impressive chilean landscapes.
With a Photography degree at the School of Photography in Universidad del Pacifico at Santiago, he has been working as a freelance photographer for diferent brands of the sport industry as Red Bull, The North Face, Quiksilver, Patagonia and others.
His work has been published at different magazines and newspapers from Chile and around the world as Surfers Journal, Surfer Magazine, Sup Journal, Windsurfing mag, The Kiteboarder, Red Bull Bulletin, Surfline.com, Skinet.com and others.
Now a days Juan Luis is contantly moving arround between the Andes Mountain range and the chilean coast, looking for perfect landscapes to shoot action sports or just sightseen the chilean beautiful terrain.
