f-stop Releases New Drone Cases

f-stop, launches two new products – Drone Case Large & Drone Case Small

DuraDiamond® Drone Cases LANDED

f-stop, a global leader in adventure photography bags, launched the first drone products in company history with the release of the Large Drone Case and Small Drone Case. The cases feature a clam shell design for efficient organization of the drone and accessories. The cases come with padded walls and weatherproof material for superior protection. The cases also come with handles, so they work well standalone and fit on the top of the camera inserts in f-stop camera backpacks.

"Our DuraDiamond Drone Cases are developed with first-hand user feedback which we received through pictures and conversations. They reflect the needs on required features, intended protection and usability of our customers in the known f-stop quality and modularity. We are happy to present the result of this development in two sizes today after intense field testing."

The DuraDiamond® Large Drone Case - $99.99 / €99.99

User review by Leighton:
Great all-around drone case!

5-Star Review

I have had the large drone case, and what I really like about it is everything you need fits in it. I like the memory card holders and the iPad pocket. I have the Mavic 2 and Mavic 3 pro, and there’s enough room in it for extra batteries and the controller, even the charging terminal. It fits nicely into my f-stop DuraDiamond® Tilopa bag along with all my other photo gear. If I only have aerials to shoot, then the case works well as a standalone. The DuraDiamond® material on the exterior of the case is solid, water resistant and holds up in the elements keeping the drone dry and protected. Would highly recommend.

We followed f-stop ambassador Dany Eid on his most recent adventure throughout Namibia.

Tagging along with Ambassador Dany Eid

Dany only had two weeks to cover as many locations as possible which came with some challenges along the way. In Namibia, Dany was exploring his medium format camera in the Sukha pack as a Fuji and f-stop ambassador.

Additionally, he's beginning to prepare for a series of landscape photography workshops in Namibia and needs to get familiar with the country as well as the locations. f-stop traveling visual storyteller Lena Oberhofer followed Dany on his adventure and together they had an amazing time.

Stay tuned and follow us on YouTube and Instagram to see and learn more about this journey along with the challenges.

“f-stop began operations in 2006 with a clear mission. We wanted to provide visual storytellers – photographers and videographers – a true technical backpack configured and designed specifically to safely carry and protect their camera gear. f-stop was the first camera bag manufacturer to utilize a modular system of inserts to protect gear. These inserts, called internal camera units, fit inside f-stop bags and are easy to secure and modify. The objective was to provide photographers the flexibility to use one high-quality bag for any assignment or project,” said Chris Osborn, Marketing Director at f-stop.

In 2018 the Japanese premium monitor manufacturer EIZO produced the first edition of their tutorial film series “Colourclass” on the Lofoten islands in Norway. In the second edition they traveled in the opposite direction of the globe, explored the beautiful country Namibia and shot eleven tutorial videos. Like 2018, they relied on f-stop gear transporting their extensive equipment.

Long time f-stop friend and collaborator Jonny Zeller 2nd Unit Directs Netflix #1 Movie
Netflix Releases Deadly Illusions

“Working on this film was an amazing experience. Director Anna Elizabeth James and I have talked about collaborating together for years, so I love that we were able to come together on this one. It felt like we were always so in sync.” – Jonny Zeller, 2nd Unit Director

When the mental and emotional trauma from Grammer’s character, Grace manifests in a variety of ways, she begins to interfere in the lives and love between Davis and Mulroney. “This cast was a dream to work with. Working with industry vets Kristin and Dermot was a dream. It was fascinating to see them embody these characters and bring them to life,” said Zeller.

Netflix released the film on March 18, 2021 and has held the #1 spot for movies on Netflix for the first six days. Watch the Deadly Illusions trailer.

The f-stop Sustainable Packaging Initiative

f-stop Implements Total Commitment to Sustainability

f-stop has always been an industry leader in quality, innovation and design. Now f-stop steps to the foreground in it's commitment to sustainability. We've always been dedicated to sustaining the environment. Our camera backpacks and camera bags are built to last so they do not end up in a landfill someplace. We've never used single use plastics in any product, and we are aggressively phasing out all such plastics in our supply chain. As technology improves, so do the means by which the depth and character of our commitment take shape in new products and packaging.
