What is your first memory of f-stop or f-stop bags?
I remember the first time I put on f-stop pack I felt relieved because it was the first time a backpack fit me correctly on my back, not too heavy, no to wide or long shoulder straps, it was this feeling “Oh, finally something that fits!” Also, I remember the f-stop campaign for lens cloth where I was able to put my logo and my motivational words on the lens cloth, which was given to others, when they get the Kashmir pack. That’s a memory with f-stop of which I am very proud.

What benefits do you get from f-stop bags you can't find in other bags?
Light wight, durable, the modular system where you can adjust your combination according to your needs, and depending how much photo gear and how much space you would like for other equipment.

What is your favorite f-stop bag?
My favorite f-stop pack is the Kashmir UL which fits perfectly.

Tell us something you discovered about your f-stop bag(s) you didn't know until you got the bag into use or in the field?
I didn’t know that you can actually wash the ICU in a washing machine. This was something I figured it out afterwards. I stayed 4 weeks on top of active volcano where it was constantly raining and my ICU was moldy, so I add it into a washing machine, and it turn out completely clean and nice again.

Another thing, I didn’t know about f-stop packs until I got to use the pack in the field is that you can use the ICUs also for other equipment besides camera gear. I have a baby son now, so I use part of the ICU to put diaper in it and the other part to add my lenses, hah, so it’s actually quite versatile and not only for photo equipment.

Which bag and ICU combo do you use most frequently, and what do you carry in it? (you can send a photo of your loaded/packed ICU)
The Kashmir UL with the Medium Slope ICU is my combo. At this moment, I carry very little camera equipment with me because I do expeditions around home, so I mainly carry only one camera body and one lens.

What is your favorite project you've worked on in the last few months, and why?
I became quite active on Instagram during the pandemic because I wanted to give something back to the photo community, so I do weekly live streams or teaching lessons and weekly challenges. Out of these challenges, I came with the idea to do a book with the community. So, with over hundred photographers, I created and published a photo book of which I am very proud of because I was able to inspire other photographers to go out, take photos and present their favorite spot in Germany and story about it.
