Pia grew up near lake Chiemsee in Bavaria, where she also lives. Already as a child she was out and about with her parents. Whether swimming on the lake, or hiking in the Alps: she already felt the deep connection to nature as a little girl.

Photography has always been a great fascination for her. For some years now she is following her passion nature and landscape photography. Almost every free minute she spends time in the great outdoors, always in search of new, exciting motifs that touch the viewer emotionally. "Emotionality in every moment is like a breath of life. Creating an emotional memory from this fugitive is a gift." This is her credo. A technically perfect picture is not automatically the best. For her the emotions generated by the viewer are definitely in the foreground.

Her work has been presented at various photo competitions in Germany and abroad. Numerous magazines like „DigitalPhoto“, „Naturfoto Magazin“ and more have published her work. In selected workshops she also pass on her knowledge to other photographers.
