Photographer BIO:
Morag Paterson and Ted Leeming have been working collaboratively as artists and photographers for ten years. While their visions are independently motivated a mutual exchange of ideas transpires, melding observation and comment on mans relationship with the environment with a fascination for transformation and metamorphosis, examining both tangible energy - as a human commodity -and those forces that are still on the edge of human exploration and understanding.
Their work varies from traditional outdoor image capture to abstract and impressionist photography and they run specialist workshops throughout the year in Iceland, Italy, Faroe Islands and Ireland as well as from their base in the Southern Uplands of Scotland, a UNESCO designated Biosphere. Regularly exhibiting internationally, they also take on a small number of private and corporate commissions.
Morag has recently trained as a Dark Sky Ranger and will be leading tours and workshops in the Galloway Forest Dark Sky park.
