Bjarne Salén is an adventure documentary filmmaker whose work takes him all over the globe. In the last seven years, Salen has filmed the world’s greatest skiers. As his career progresses he is honing his skills and focusing more on what the story is in each adventure. He has been on filming expeditions several times in South America, Nepal, Pakistan, North America, Europe and Alaska. His films possess accolades and recognition from film festivals and audiences from around world. Salén has directed and produced films for companies such as Salomon, Oakley, Patagonia and The North Face. He lives in Northern California but travels much of the year to produce his films.
